Job summary

Firefly Children & Family Alliance in Muncie, Indiana is seeking a part-time Family Support Specialist to guide and document visitation for families. The role covers several Indiana counties and requires evening shifts with at least two nights per week.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Some experience in a Human Services field preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance with 6 or fewer points on driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee visits between children and their parents in our visitation offices or community.
• Complete required documentation for each visit and schedule visits.
• Provide education and support to youth/families and help them achieve goals.
• Attend court with clients and render recommendations.
• Communicate with multiple institutions related to youth/family matters.
