Firefly Children and Family Alliance in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a part-time Family Support Specialist to guide and document visitation for families. You will work evenings, transport clients, and interact with the court system as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Some experience in a Human Services field preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance with 6 or less points on driving record.

Responsibilities

• Family Progress - Monitoring and Coaching (70%): complete documentation, oversee visits, schedule visits, coach collaboratively, provide education and support to youth/families, assist youth/families in achieving goals, attend required meetings, ensure professional standards are followed, communicate with related institutions, provide transportation, attend court with clients and render recommendations.
• Service Plans / Goal Development (15%): create and review goals for each family, work with other social welfare agencies.
• Reporting (15%): maintain case and agency paperwork, prepare written reports for the Department of Child Services / Probation office within identified time frames.
