Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Medina is seeking an Environmental Services Area Cleaner to support patient comfort and safety at Medina Hospital. This part-time role involves cleaning patient rooms, exam areas, offices, waiting areas, and restrooms, while restocking supplies and following hospital policies.

The position runs 5pm–9pm, Monday through Friday, with every other weekend and three holidays per year. Training will cover cleaning techniques and safety procedures, and a strong attention to detail is

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include strong attention to detail and the ability to follow directions with minimal supervision.
Ability to learn and follow departmental policies and procedures, including cleaning and patient hospitality techniques and the proper use and storage of cleaning agents.
Clear, courteous and caring communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced cleaning environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing work assignments and priorities.

Responsibilities

Clean patient rooms, ancillary areas, exam rooms, offices, waiting areas, public restrooms, discharge rooms and other assigned areas.
Stock paper items and other supplies in patient rooms, exam rooms, and restrooms.
Follow scripting, policies and procedures on patient isolation and all Environmental Services SOPs.
Follow and adhere to all hospital-wide and departmental safety requirements.
