Job summary

American Senior Communities is hiring a Culinary Aide for part-time evening shifts at HC Rochester. You will assist with meal preparation, portioning, and service, while helping to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include collaborating with culinary leaders, setting up service trays, and supporting staff in dishwashing and tray collection. Preferred sanitation certification and prior server experience are noted, with a strong emphasis on customer service.

Qualifications

• Commitment to customer service.
• Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification preferred unless required by State/Federal agencies.
• Prior restaurant server experience preferred.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work with culinary team and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs and provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in the preparation and portioning of meal items according to menu and resident diets.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Clean equipment as needed to maintain a sanitary workplace.
