Job summary

American Senior Communities—Franklin Meadows in Indiana is seeking a Culinary Aide for full-time evening hours. You will assist with meal preparation, portioning and service, helping to ensure residents receive safe, nutritious, and delicious meals.

You will partner with culinary leaders to meet resident needs, maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen, and support a positive dining experience. Prior server experience and a sanitation certification are valued; commitment to excellent service is

Qualifications

• Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification is preferred and can be earned while employed.
• Prior restaurant server experience is preferred.
• Commitment to customer service is required.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work with culinary team and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and portions according to menu and resident dietary requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining area.
