CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a part-time Cook to prepare meals for residents and their guests. The role requires following menus, recipes, and event plans with attention to portion control and garnishing.

You will work 2pm-9pm and rotate weekends, contributing to a collaborative kitchen that values quality and service. The position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent or technical school.
• At least three years of line cook experience or training.
• Excellent communication with residents and staff.

Responsabilidades

• Cook and prepare food for residents, guests, and employees.
• Prepare food according to planned menu using standard recipes.
• Plate food items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions.
• Assist other kitchen staff as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure sufficient food is prepped and/or prepared.
• Communicate shortages or outages to supervisor.
• Ensure freshness, proper seasoning, and quality of all foods served.
• Stock and clean station for next shift.
• Follow proper food rotation policies.
• Maintain a positive team-oriented attitude.
• Promote positive relations with residents, families and guests.
