Job summary

Tutera Senior Living and Health Care is seeking a part-time Dietary Cook for evenings (11:30am - 7:00pm) to prepare and serve meals for residents, follow menus, and uphold food safety standards.

You will work with a caring team to deliver nutritious meals, monitor handling and sanitation, and ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations while supporting residents' health and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• High school diploma, or equivalent, required
• Prior dietary experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred
• One year of experience as a cook in a large-scale cooking operation highly preferred
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to the menu.
• Monitor methods of food handling, preparation, meal service, and equipment cleaning.
• Safely and efficiently provide nutritionally appropriate food to residents and maintain health standards.
• Ensure quality food service and nutrition care in accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations.
