MW_CSD is seeking a part-time Community Support Assistant in Upper Marlboro, MD, to work 15 hours per week from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM, supporting individuals with disabilities.

The role involves personal care, assisting with daily living activities, and engaging individuals in community activities. Requirements include a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and two years of driving experience. The pay is $18.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Two years of driving experience.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in a community-based setting strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide and assist with personal care and emotional support.
• Support persons served in meal preparation and daily living activities.
• Assist with medical appointments as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in an individual’s condition.
• Engage persons served in meaningful community activities.
