Veterans Services Georgetown is seeking a part-time, evening-shift position at the Ohio Veterans Home in Georgetown, OH. The role involves assisting activity therapists, monitoring residents in therapy and recreation, and promoting social engagement within the facility.

Qualifications

• Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading, writing & speaking common English vocabulary.

Responsabilités

• Assist higher-level activity therapists in implementing activity therapy.
• Monitor residents participating in activity therapy & recreational activities.
• Provide an environment that promotes resident socialization & interaction.
• Escort &/or transport residents to & from activities.
• Provide assistance to volunteers transporting residents.
• Maintain records of attendance &/or participation for Activity Plan of Care.
