Harbor Health Services, Inc. in Brockton, MA is seeking a part-time ESP Chaplain to provide spiritual leadership and counseling to participants, caregivers, and families within the Elder Service Plan (PACE).

Under the ESP Social Services Manager and IDT, you will organize and supervise religious programs and related activities, with duties including worship, chaplaincy visits, and education. This role requires a Master of Divinity and prior pastoral leadership, computer literacy, strong

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree and a Master of Divinity from an accredited seminary/school of theology (three-year program).
• At least two years of pastoral/spiritual leadership in a non-congregation or non-profit setting.
• Contextual education training may satisfy at least one year of experience.
• Computer literate.
• Strong organizational and written/oral communication skills.
• Experience with geriatric population preferred.
• Must travel between Harbor ESP sites and to participant homes.

Responsibilities

• Provides spiritual leadership and counseling to participants, caregivers, and families.
• Participates in IDT meetings and care planning as appropriate.
• Maintains timely documentation in the medical record.
• Provides Christian education and spiritual support.
• Supports participants through visits and bi-weekly prayer.
• Visits to residential facilities and homes in the catchment area as needed.
• Hosts religious sessions and teachings on contemplative practices, grief and loss, forgiveness, and relationships.
