Job summary

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in ESOL or related field, with ESOL endorsement/certification or teaching experience in a second language. This position is hired each semester as needed.

Qualifications

• Earned bachelor’s degree or higher in ESOL, applied linguistics, English, reading, or a related field.
• One of the following: at least one year of teaching or tutoring in a second language, or an ESOL endorsement, or an ESOL certification.
• College-level teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classes in accordance with College policy and course objectives.
• Make use of available technology to enhance instructional methods.
• Maintain accurate student records, grades, and other requirements.
• Engage with students regularly in meaningful ways that impact learning and experience.
• Demonstrate teaching strategies focused on engaging students with their learning.
