Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state Board approved program of professional nursing.
• Holds a current Pennsylvania State License as a registered nurse.
• Certified in basic CPR.
• Certified in ACLS, PALS, and neonatal resuscitation as appropriate.
• Previous critical care or emergency department experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under supervision.
• Provide patient teaching to promote positive health outcomes.
• Serve as preceptor and orientation for staff.
• Maintain competencies and CEUs.
• Respond to patient care needs promptly.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team.
• Document and communicate plans of care.
