Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham is seeking a Part-Time Gender Equity and Student Belonging Coordinator to support the retention and success of diverse students.

The role focuses on creating safe spaces, fostering belonging, and promoting equity across campus through targeted programs. The coordinator will design, deliver, and assess student-centered activities, triage needs, recruit and train peer mentors, and partner with faculty and campus services to align outcomes with student success.

Formación

• Associate degree required.
• Two years in student services coordinating programs for diverse students.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; other languages considered.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate design, delivery, and evaluation of gender equity and student belonging programming; focus on identity, belonging, retention, and mentorship.
• Triage student needs and refer to college programs and services.
• Coordinate outreach, recruitment, orientation, and enrollment activities for the program.
• Collaborate with faculty to align courses with program outcomes and retention strategies.
• Recruit, hire, train, and support peer mentors; coach mentors toward goals.
