Job summary

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking an Environmental Services Aide I for Baskin Ridge, NJ. This part-time role involves evening shifts (7pm–11pm), 20 hours per week, on-site at 136 Mountain View Boulevard. Training is provided; no prior ES experience required.

You will ensure a safe, clean and healing environment for patients, families, and staff. Join MSK’s team to support patient care with strong teamwork, reliability and communication.

Qualifications

• No prior Environmental Services experience required; training provided.
• Able to operate floor-cleaning equipment and perform physical tasks.
• Capable of lifting at least 30 lbs.
• Basic computer knowledge to support communication and training.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning using standard guidelines.
• Safely remove general and infectious waste and soiled linen.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and mix as needed.
• Assist with small moves or room setups.
• Participate in department meetings and trainings.
• Contribute ideas to improve efficiency and safety.
