Responsibilities

• Perform daily and thorough cleaning using the Seven Step Cleaning Guidelines.
• Safely remove general, infectious waste and soiled linen per procedures.
• Handle and mix cleaning chemicals according to safety standards.
• Use equipment such as the cardboard baler and trash compactor safely.
• Support unit operations with small moves or room setups as needed.
• Participate in department meetings and required training sessions.
• Complete additional projects or assignments as directed by leadership.
• Share ideas to improve efficiency, safety, and workflow.
