Job summary

Eurofins Scientific, a global leader in analytical testing, seeks a part-time Laboratory Technician in Cary, NC. You will perform environmental monitoring testing following procedures and assist with sample prep, glassware cleaning, and data entry using MS Office.

The role requires at least an Associate's degree in microbiology or related field (high school diploma with GMP experience also considered), strong aseptic technique, and the ability to stand for 4+ hours.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in microbiology or related subject required; high school diploma with GMP environment monitoring/microbiology experience considered.
• Strong aseptic technique and familiarity with lab safety protocols.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook for daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform general environmental monitoring testing following written protocols.
• Complete routine sample preparation, glassware cleaning, sample disposal and lab cleanup.
• Use Microsoft Office tools to document observations and results.
