Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) in Cary, NC is seeking an entry-level student to join the TEM department as a part-time technician. This temporary role supports equipment cleaning, sample handling, preparation and general administrative tasks, working up to 20 hours per week from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Applicants pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in physical or life science, with strong organizational and communication skills, are encouraged to apply.

• Pursing an Associates or Bachelor's degree in physical or life science.
• Strong computer, scientific, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated, and a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Regular attendance and punctuality
• Assist with quality control administrative tasks
• Receive customer correspondence and direct the information to the appropriate personnel
• Prepare samples for analysis
• Log in client samples
• Stock laboratory supplies
• Maintain, clean and prepare glassware and other laboratory equipment
• Assist with special projects as needed
