Job summary

Allied Universal in Wakefield, RI is seeking an unarmed Security Officer Enhanced Part Time to provide reliable security services at a designated site with flexible shift options. You can earn by picking up additional shifts through the scheduling platform, supporting a base schedule with six-month commitments.

Pay Rate: $21.22 / Hour. Schedule includes Mon/Tue/Fri nights, with opportunities to scale hours across sites.

Qualifications

Vaccination as required by the site.
Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Background check conducted under applicable laws.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following security procedures and location policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and according to protocols and notify appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control, visitor management, directions, and monitoring entry points as required by location.
Document incidents and patrol activities accurately and communicate information to supervisors and hospital personnel.
