Qualifications

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors per security procedures and site policies.
• Respond calmly to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations.
• Conduct regular patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
