Job summary

Allied Universal in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to provide dependable, flexible coverage at a commercial real estate site. You will perform non-armed security duties, monitor access, and respond to incidents while supporting tenants and staff.

This role emphasizes fixed anchor shifts with options to pick extra shifts through the scheduling platform, offering income stability and opportunities to advance toward a full-time schedule up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory experience.
• Must have at least five years of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain awareness of activity at entrances and common areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document events according to site-specific procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and property representatives.
