Job summary

Adjunct faculty support student success, especially for non-traditional students balancing education with work and family responsibilities. The division invites candidates with a Master’s degree and prior higher-education teaching experience; evening/weekend availability and experience with blended/online formats

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or related field is required.
• Prior teaching experience in higher education, adult education, or related setting preferred.
• Experience working with adult or non-traditional students strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to teach in flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.
• Experience teaching blended, hybrid, and online classes are a plus.

Position Summary

The Division of Liberal Arts English and Foreign Language Department is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to facilitate courses in English by delivering high-quality instruction in flexible formats including hybrid or online classes. Blackboard Ultra experience is required. Adjunct faculty play a critical role in supporting student success, particularly for non-traditional students balancing education with work, family, and other responsibilities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging, student-centered learning experiences tailored to adult learners


• Provide clear course expectations, timely feedback, and fair assessment of student performance
