Job summary

NJIT seeks an Adjunct Instructor to teach up to two undergraduate courses in the SAET programs (BMET, CET, CIM, CMT, ECET, IET, MET, SET) for Fall, Spring or Summer semesters. Both day and/or evening sections are available and coordination will be handled by the Program Coordinator.

Applicants should have an MS in engineering or a closely related field; PhD and prior teaching experience are preferred, with potential for strong industrial experience related to CET, CIM, CMT, ECET, IET, MET, or

Qualifications

• MS in Construction/Civil, Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Medical Informatics, Manufacturing, or Surveying Engineering or closely related field.
• PhD and prior teaching experience preferred.
• Full-time industrial experience in a job related to CET, CIM, CMT, ECET, IET, MET, or SET.

Responsibilities

• Teach one or two undergraduate courses for Fall, Spring or Summer semesters as assigned by the Program Coordinator.
• Courses may be daytime or evening sections.
• Teach in BMET, CET, CIM, CMT, ECET, IET, MET, SET programs as needed.
