Job summary

The Helen and John C. Hartmann Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at NJIT invites qualified Adjunct Professors to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering.

Responsibilities include delivering lectures, developing course materials, assessing student performance, holding office hours, and supporting student learning in accordance with department and university policies.

Qualifications

• MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience in teaching or adjunct professorship preferred.
• Ability to prepare and deliver lectures and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lectures.
• Prepare and grade assignments.
• Design laboratory experiments (if needed), and examination of student learning.
• Learn and use online course management system - Canvas.
• Submit grades to the registrar at the end of the semester.
