Job summary

New Jersey Institute of Technology is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for the School of Applied Engineering & Technology. The role involves teaching up to two undergraduate courses in BMET, CET, CIM, CMT, ECET, IET, MET, SET for upcoming semesters.

Responsibilities include teaching one or two courses per term (Fall, Spring, or Summer) with day and/or evening sections available. A MS in a related engineering field is required; PhD and prior teaching experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a MS in Construction/Civil, Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Medical Informatics, Manufacturing, or Surveying Engineering, or in a closely related field.
• Preferred qualifications include PhD and prior teaching experience.
• Full-time industrial experience in a job related to CET, CIM, CMT, ECET, IET, MET, or SET.

Responsibilities

• Teach one or two undergraduate courses in Fall, Spring or Summer semesters as assigned by the Program Coordinator.
• Provide day and/or evening sections as needed.
