Job summary
Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a friendly Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join the team in Boston. The role focuses on providing comprehensive endocrine care, including diabetes and thyroid management, within a skilled nursing facility setting.
This part-time position requires an active NP/PA license, a DEA, and a nursing master's degree. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to patient-centered care for residents.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license.
- DEA license.
- CPR BCLS/BLS certified.
- Master's Degree in Nursing.
- Graduated from an accredited NP program.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
- At least 1 year of endocrinology experience.
- Experience documenting in EMR systems (training provided).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift 20 pounds and stand/walk up to 6–8 hours daily.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive healthcare services and coordinate patient care.
- Assess and treat patients with endocrinology diseases and conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and administer treatments.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
- Care for elderly residents in the nursing home.
- Monitor chronic conditions and adjust care plans as needed.
