Qualifications

• Must be a paid employee or volunteer member of Loudoun County Fire and Rescue.
• Holds a valid Virginia EMS certification (EMT-B/EMT-I/EMT-A or Paramedic).
• Basic and advanced life support practical certifications.
• CPR certification required.
• Must be a certified Emergency Medical Technician.
• English proficiency in reading, writing and speaking.
• Must be physically and mentally capable of performing practical EMT skills.

Responsibilities

• Support EMT course labs and practical skill sessions (6:1 ratio).
• Assist instructor in various skill stations.
• Assist instructor in medical and trauma student assessments.
