TrulyHired is seeking an EMT Instructor to deliver classroom, lab, and field-ready instruction to high school students in Culpeper, VA. The role focuses on authentic EMS training aligned with OEMS standards and CCPS requirements, guiding students toward EMT certification.

The instructor will develop hands-on experiences, assess progress, maintain records, and collaborate with EMS partners to ensure safe, compliant, and engaging learning environments.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia EMT certification and NREMT EMT certification.
• 1–3 years EMS field experience typically expected.
• VA OEMS Education Coordinator certification or eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in education or equivalent licensure.
• VA Department of Education CTE endorsement eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver classroom lectures, lab instruction, demonstrations, and skill-based assessments.
• Develop hands-on experiences reflecting current EMS practice and National EMS Education Standards.
• Assess student performance and provide timely feedback for mastery.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and skill competencies.
• Ensure compliance with Virginia OEMS regulations and accreditation standards.
• Coordinate clinical/field experiences with EMS partners.
• Create a safe, engaging learning environment and foster professionalism.
