Job summary

Lifeguard Ambulance Service is hiring an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Basic for a part-time role in Mississippi. The EMT responds to emergency and non-emergency requests, delivers high-quality care, and provides excellent customer service to patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Driver’s License.
• National or State EMT certification.
• CPR/BLS certifications.
• Physically able to pass agility test.
• Some healthcare work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and determine care needs, deliver emergency services.
• Document patient information and treatment while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stocked environment for patients.
• Use EMT skills and equipment to provide medical care.
• Operate an ambulance per safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
