Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance. The EMT Basic will assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver high-quality emergency services with a focus on patient safety and confidentiality.

This part-time role requires a high school diploma or GED, EMT certification, CPR/BLS, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
State Driver’s License required.
National or State EMT certification required.
CPR/BLS certifications required.
Driving record must meet company policy.
Pass Physical Agility Test.
Some healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

EMTs provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality.
Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
Use EMT skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment and tools.
Operate an ambulance in compliance with company safety policies and traffic laws.
Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel as well as fellow EMTs.
Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.
