Job summary

Aptiv in Viroqua, WI is looking for a part-time assistant to work about 15 hours per week. The role offers a $16.60 hourly wage with flexible scheduling, primarily Monday–Friday daytime shifts, plus occasional weekends, evenings, and nights.

You will work one-on-one with participants at their work sites, helping them learn work skills and providing on-the-job support. Candidates must be 18+ and comfortable with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Driver's license preferred.
• Basic knowledge of issues affecting people with disabilities.
• Experience using Microsoft Office.
• Access to non-public transportation including required insurance coverage.
• Ability to work split shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with participants at their work site.
• Help participants learn work skills such as punctuality, appropriate dress, and following directions to their individual employment goals.
• Provide on-the-job support by helping them adjust to a new worksite, guiding them in learning and understanding their job duties, supplementing their work as necessary, and systematically fading direct support.
• Occasionally provide transportation for participants to work, while also encouraging them to learn about other forms of transportation, and pedestrian safety skills, and assist with wheelchairs.
