• Experience advising employers on workplace and HR matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day employment law counseling to business clients and HR professionals regarding employee relations and workplace matters.
• Advise clients on compliance with state and federal employment laws and regulations.
• Review, assess, and develop employee handbooks, policies, and procedures; and prepare employment-related agreements.
• Counsel clients regarding FMLA compliance and other employment-related leaves and workplace requirements.
• Assist with and advise on workplace investigations, including investigation planning, interviews, documentation, and recommendations.
• Develop and deliver supervisory and in-service training on employment law and HR best practices.
