Job summary

Rutland Regional Medical Center's Emergency Department is seeking an Emergency Room Technician to assist in patient care, mobility, data collection, and supply management under supervision. The role supports safe, efficient care in emergent situations.

Required: High school diploma, Vermont LNA or EMT license, BLS, and completion of de-escalation/restraint training within 3 months of hire. Part-time with rotating weekends/holidays; day/evening shifts 7-19 & 9-21.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Experience as LNA or EMS in hospital or nursing home.
• Current Vermont State License as LNA or EMT.
• BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
• De-escalation and restraint program certification required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care and mobility under supervision of clinical staff.
• Data and specimen collection.
• Manage supplies and equipment; perform clinical and clerical duties.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe environment during emergent situations.
