Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Current EMT or LNA licensure required.
A current BLS from the American Heart Association is required.
Medical terminology training preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Basic computer proficiency and comfort with office equipment.
Ability to perform clinical functions as directed by nursing staff.
Responsibilities
Provide direct clinical support to Emergency Department patients, including vital signs and patient safety observation.
Perform essential unit clerk functions such as documentation in the EMR and managing patient records.
Support efficient Emergency Department operations by preparing patient rooms and maintaining supplies.
Collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure timely and compassionate emergency care.
