Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Clinical Care Technician for our Emergency Department at the Edgewood Hospital. Part Time, 24 hours per week, split 1/2 shift, supports RN with direct and indirect patient care.

The role includes collecting specimens, performing EKGs, assisting with lifting, vital signs, wound care, and transporting patients, under nursing staff guidance, in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED is required.
• BLS Certification is required.
• Ability to perform vital signs and apply body mechanics knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Collect basic laboratory specimens and troponins, perform EKGs.
• Assist with lifting, transporting, and wound care as directed.
• Transport patients to testing and support RN in care delivery.
• Perform CPR on arrests as part of the code team.
• Adhere to policies for specimen collection and ECG performance.
