Job summary

Verge Therapy in Massachusetts seeks a compassionate EMDR Therapist to join our inclusive team on a part-time, fee-for-service basis. You will provide affirming, trauma-focused care using EMDR, supported by a practice that values clinician well-being and diversity.

The role reports to the Clinical Director and offers opportunities for bonuses and supervision. Part-time is 48 billable hours per month (~12/week) with potential for bonuses, paid admin time, and CEU support.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field and licensure in MA or licensure eligible.
• EMDR Basic Training completed.
• Experience providing trauma-focused therapy with evidence-based approaches.

Responsibilities

• Provide client-centered, trauma-focused EMDR therapy.
• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and readiness for EMDR.
• Build stabilization and resourcing skills and pace treatment to client needs.
• Integrate EMDR with CBT, IFS, somatic, or attachment-focused approaches.
• Respond to crises with safety and clinical judgment.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment progress.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and care team for coordinated care.
• Participate in supervision and EMDR case consultations.
• Stay current with EMDR best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Connect clients with community resources and referrals.
