Job summary

Oxford Learning Burlington North is seeking a part-time teacher-tutor to support elementary students in English/French and social studies. Role involves teaching up to three students at a time, both online and in-person, following our proprietary methods and ensuring post-lesson notes are completed.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, tutoring experience, and knowledge of K-9 curriculum. Evening and after-school hours with potential summer continuation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field.
• Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered.
• Teaching certification an asset.
• Good knowledge of the current Kindergarten to Grade 9 curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to three students at a time in-person and online.
• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.
• Fill in post-lesson notes after sessions.
• Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times.
