Tooele County School District is seeking a part-time Food Services Cook at Grantsville Elementary School to support nutritious school meals. Under supervision of the Lunchroom manager, you will cook, portion, and maintain sanitary food service areas while following production records and health standards.

You must be at least 18, possess a valid Food Handlers Permit, and be able to lift up to 40 lbs. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliable attendance, and accurate documentation of food handling

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma and be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have valid Food Handlers Permit.
• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
• Ability to perform physical activities without difficulty.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Ability to work with diverse groups and maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Cooks food items meeting nutritional requirements as directed by the Lunchroom manager.
• Cleans utensils, equipment and prep areas to maintain sanitary conditions.
• Inspects food items for quantity, quality and safety according to orders.
• Stocks food, condiments and supplies to ensure adequate quantities.
• Prepares documentation such as inventory and temperature logs.
• Evaluates prepared meals for flavor, appearance and temperature.
