Job summary

College of the Mainland in Texas City invites applications for an Adjunct Electrical Wiring instructor to provide lecture and hands-on training to the next generation of electricians. The position is part-time with regular funding.

The ideal candidate holds a High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of industrial or construction experience as an Electrician, with preferred Journeyman license or NCCER ICPT Instructor credentials and related instructional skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and 3 years experience as electrician.
• Journeyman license or higher preferred; NCCER ICPT Instructor Credentials advantageous.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, wiring/conduit installation, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes in keeping with syllabi, outlines, and materials.
• Maintain accurate student accounting records.
• Provide counsel/guidance to students when needed.
