Job summary

College of the Mainland is seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach Intro to Industrial & Construction Trades/NCCER Core. The role covers safety, construction math, drawings, and tool use in a classroom and lab setting.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED with 3 years in industrial trades; NCCER Level 1 and 2 or a journey-level license is preferred. This is a part-time position with regular funding and potential student guidance duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and three years of experience in industrial, construction or related trades.
• Completion of NCCER trade training with level 1 and 2 may substitute for work experience.
• Preferred: journey-level license and five years of experience in commercial or industrial fields.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes in line with syllabi, outlines, and instructional materials.
• Maintain accurate student accounting records per COM policies.
• Provide counseling and guidance to students as needed.
