Job summary

The Township of East Hanover is seeking an experienced Electrical Subcode Official/Electrical Inspector (minimum 5 years’ experience) with an HHS Electrical Inspection License required.

The position is part-time, requires 8–10 hours per week and flexibility to increase hours as needed. All residential and commercial inspection licenses must be current and in good standing. Hourly wages range from $45 to $55 per hour, with potential for expanded duties.

Qualifications

• Current and in good standing residential and commercial inspection licenses.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical inspections for residential and commercial properties.
• Coordinate with building officials and engineers as needed.
