Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher AND two years of related professional experience.
• Associate degree AND six years of related professional experience.
• Equivalency approved under district procedures.
• Understanding of diverse student backgrounds and commitment to equity.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses in accordance with approved outlines and student learning outcomes.
• Prepare and deliver effective, student-centered instruction using evidence-based practices.
• Develop and maintain course syllabi, instructional materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Evaluate student performance in a timely and equitable manner and maintain records.
• Submit grades and reports by deadlines.
• Create an inclusive, respectful learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds.
• Maintain regular communication with students and respond promptly to inquiries.
• Utilize the District’s learning management system and instructional technologies.
• Comply with District policies, collective bargaining agreements, accreditation standards, and regulations.
• Participate in department meetings and professional development.
