This course and corresponding lab introduce students to direct and alternating current circuit analysis, including Thevenin’s and Norton’s theorems, mesh-current analysis, and nodal analysis. Additional topics include capacitance, inductance, magnetic circuits, resonance, power, polyphase circuits, sinusoidal excitation, and AC reactance. The laboratory component reinforces these concepts through practical circuit construction, measurement, testing, and analysis.
