Job summary

TA Resources LLC is seeking a part-time EHS Safety Associate for a Lake Forest, IL client. The role focuses on OSHA/EPA compliance, training, documentation, and on-floor safety engagement in a contract manufacturing facility.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of EHS experience, an environmental safety degree, and OSHA/HAZWOPER certifications are beneficial. The position is onsite up to 20 hours per week with a pay rate of $45–$55 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of EHS experience in manufacturing or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and environmental compliance.
• Certifications such as OSHA 10/30, CPR/First Aid, or HAZWOPER are beneficial.
• Ability to work onsite for up to 20 hours per week and communicate with production teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Assist with OSHA, EPA, and local regulatory compliance tasks including recordkeeping and reporting.
• Study and create safety training programs; conduct or coordinate safety training (PPE, LOTO, hazard communication, ergonomics, First Aid).
• Support incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective action tracking.
