Job summary

Christian Academy – Indiana Campus in New Albany is seeking a part-time Educational Resource Teacher to support students with academic weaknesses in a small group setting. The role emphasizes interventions and collaboration with classroom teachers and parents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education is required.
• ACSI Teacher certification or state teaching certificate, or in process.
• Experience with self-contained or resource classrooms is preferred.
• Ability to write individualized modification/accommodation plans and communicate with parents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee campus programming to meet student needs.
• Foster communication between parents and teachers; engage in conferences.
• Write and implement modification/accommodation plans for students.
• Provide pull-out small group remedial instruction with documentation of progress.
• Prepare monthly progress reports and share student growth data.
