Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Within one calendar year: pass EIPA with min score 4.0 and EIPA written test; OR RID certification with EIPA written test.

Responsibilities

• Interpret lectures, discussions, tests, films and student comments in classroom and school activities.
• Interpret communications between hearing and deaf/hard-of-hearing students, parents, and staff.
• Assist staff to implement programs for deaf and hard-of-hearing students.
• Develop language, articulation and academic skills with teachers for related students.
• Supervise students and participate in staff meetings and trainings.
