Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or pursuing a college degree in a science field or education
• At least one year experience with children and youth (pre-k to grade 12) in a museum, after-school, or youth program
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to provide exceptional guest services in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of science concepts
• Experience working with groups of 25–50
• Experience working virtually with groups of 25–49
• Able to work with adults and families in groups of 25–300
• Team player or able to work independently
• Knowledge of NASCAR and motorsports is highly desired

Responsibilities

• Assist and support facilitation of children and youth programs (on-site, virtual, or off-site)
• Facilitate public programs for general visitors and families
• Prepare materials and supplies for each activity
• Track inventory of supplies and materials
• Assist with office and behind-the-scenes projects (data entry/emails)
• Support staff with running floor interactives
• Other duties as assigned
• Work 24 hours per month including days, evenings, weekends, and select holidays
• Deliver high-quality guest service and embody CRVA service philosophy
