Job summary

CSN is seeking a Part-time Instructor in the Education Department to teach Introduction to Education at CSN campuses (North Las Vegas, Charleston, and Henderson). The instructor will manage classroom observation hours, schedule, and all course elements to help students achieve course objectives.

Required qualifications include a Master’s degree in Education, Educational Psychology, Curriculum and Instruction, ESL or related fields, with a preference for 3+ years of special education teaching

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education or related field is required.
• Preference for 3+ years of special education teaching experience.
• PhD or Ed.D in Educational Psychology, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Studies, Educational Leadership or related degrees preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach Introduction to Education and manage the course structure.
• Provide course outlines, goals, objectives, textbooks, attendance, exams, and field observation hours.
• Coordinate assignments and ensure alignment with catalog descriptions and course objectives.
