Job summary

Oregon State University is inviting applications for fixed-term, non-tenure-track part-time Instructor positions to teach a range of courses across Education and Teaching majors, ESOL/Dual Language/Literacy programs, and certificates. Courses may be face-to-face, hybrid, or online.

Successful candidates will hold a Master’s degree (or Doctorate for higher level courses) and have documented teaching or curriculum development experience; K-12 teaching experience is valued for licensure programs.

Qualifications

• Master's in Education or related field required for 100–500 level courses.
• Doctorate in Education or related field required for 600 level courses.
• Documented experience teaching, training, or developing curriculum in the course content area.
• For teacher licensure programs, at least 5 years of documented teaching experience in K-12 public schools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and teach courses within Education and Teaching majors, graduate certificates, and endorsement programs.
• Participate in training to develop, maintain, and teach with Canvas and other technologies.
