ChristianaCare is seeking a part-time hybrid advanced practice provider (PA/NP) for the ED callback team. You will follow established protocols, inform patients of results, and coordinate follow-up care. The role supports Delaware and Maryland campuses and offers flexible hours with some virtual work.

The position requires PA or NP certification, DE license, prescriptive authority, and BLS. Work includes holidays and 7-day coverage with a biweekly 40-hour schedule.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• National certification as a PA or NP.
• Unrestricted DE license and MD licensure eligibility.
• Prescriptive authority and DEA licensure in DE; MD authority eligibility in MD.

Responsabilidades

• Review results for discharged ED patients and inform patients of post-discharge findings.
• Provide follow-up actions including medications, referrals, and education.
• Handle calls from patients/pharmacists and address prescription questions or adjustments.
• Coordinate transfers of care and communicate with radiology, labs, and inpatient teams.
• Document in EHR and assist with education of ED Administration residents and PA Fellows.
