Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join the Medical Critical Care Team serving 3 hospital campuses in Newark, DE, Wilmington, DE, and Elkton, MD. Roles include standard day, nocturnist, and weekend shifts with 12-hour or 10/12-hour days, plus on-call coverage and holidays.

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible for Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Delaware and Maryland.
• ACLS certification required.
• DEA registration for Delaware and Maryland.
• Prescriptive Authority for Delaware and Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage ICU patients with the interdisciplinary team.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care with physicians, nurses, and staff.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and labs as appropriate.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans.
• Complete documentation and billing within the EHR.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and protocol development.
